Office Clocks

There are many ways to make yourself a watch. This I found very original for an office.  The elements are very simple to use:

  • A machine clock, which can be of any clock that we filed on our house.
  • To the numbers we can use the computer keyboard, or other items such as badges, buttons etc, is a little to the imagination.
  • Glue to stick the numbers

To build it we need to place the machine in the center of where we want to build the clock.  Then paste the numbers or in a regular, square, and irregular or casual recdonda as we see in the picture.

This watch can put it on the fourth of our children, in that corner where they put the computer.  If we do for our kids the numbers should be more casual and colorful.

It is a simple craft to make and can change the look of a room or corner of the home or office.

Grandfather Clock as a Retro

The retro style is becoming more attractive when decorating a given environment that offers a wide range of options when choosing a decorative element.

Such is the case of the pendulum clock, which might be found in almost any home and certainly in many antique shops. Beyond their decorative aspect must not forget that it is very useful when organizing our daily tasks and then know how long we have, for example, to fetch the children to school.

Although given little importance to this fixture, this time we want to highlight its value as a decoration, especially when using old wall clocks add a touch of personality in the environment.

Such is the case of clocks that have been imposed over the years in various decorative styles and becomes an ideal object for settings from traditional to vintage and retro style.

Most antique clocks were produced on a wooden base and metal accessories complemented by granting a special presentation to show off the most important rooms in the house.

We can find watches of all types and sizes, made from different materials, but each and every one of them speak of past eras and styles becoming the ideal element when the mood our room in retro style. That is no longer used these techniques to manufacture the objects become highly original.

How to Make a Clock

There is no doubt that we live in a time when we make environmental awareness and concern for the environment. Consequently, recycling decorative objects is a good way to contribute our grain of sand, reducing our waste generation. In this case, we offer up that old CD to make it a clock.

The materials we need are: an old CD, a small washer, a clock mechanism, numbers, and cyano.

We took the CD, which should be clean, and we put the numbers side of the front. In this case we will post the 12 numbers, only 12 and 6 or design that we like, according to our style and customs.

Continue placing the washer, carefully so that the clock mechanism in the same perfect fit and the hole of the CD, which will act as a support.

The washer should be sustained pressure but, just in case, you should ensure the structure with instant glue.

Then we took the mechanism and separate the needle carefully, remembering the location of each. Subsequently put this mechanism in the CD, again placing the needles in the order in which they are located.

Once successfully completed all these steps, we put a stack on time and our clock, which is ready to complement the decor of our room.
